Sapulpa won’t have a fireworks show this year, and the drone show might never be back since its former sponsor has now filed for bankruptcy, but there are plenty of places in the area to catch a good fireworks show!
It’s one of those wonderful years when July 4th falls on a Friday, which not only means a three-day weekend but also means the festivities can really get started on Thursday evening. Here’s everything we could find happening over the next few days:
Thursday, July 3rd
Sapulpa Main Street Route 66 Farmers Market – Each week at Herald Square, come find fresh produce, baked goods and more in the vendors at this local farmers market. Held each Thursday from 4pm to 7:30pm.
Freedom Celebration at Cross Bar Arena in Kiefer – Fireworks and Food Trucks, plus vendors and plenty more! Gates open at 6pm, Fireworks are at dark!
Tulsa Drillers Baseball – There’s nothing quite like a fireworks show at ONEOK Field. They’ll be having fireworks after the 7pm game on July 1-3rd.
Star Spangled Salute at Case Community Park – This Sand Springs event time starts at 6pm, fireworks at approximately 9:15pm
Fiber Art Fun at Sapulpa Public Library – Come join us for Fiber Art Fun with the Sapulpa Public Library! Join us for faire-style arts and crafts with a variety of fiber arts. Come learn, play, and have fun with the whole family. Activities will be available for kids and teens of all ages. Starts at 2pm.
Live Music at James Calley Brewing Company with Mike Wilson – Come spend the evening listening to Mike Wilson sing hits from Journey, Queen, Prince, Boston, The Eagles and more! July 3, 2025 from 6 – 8 PM!
Trivia Night at Dancing Skeleton Meadery – Join us for trivia night. Bring a team or just come on in. Team signup will begin at 6:30, and questions will start at 7. No cost to participate, and prizes will be awarded at the end.
Friday, July 4th

BOOMFEST at Oklahoma Aquarium – Join us Friday, July 4 for an unforgettable Independence Day celebration—complete with riverfront fireworks, family fun, and thousands of sea creatures! Starting at 6:30pm
Boomfest at the Riverwalk, presented by Lee & Browne Consulting Engineers, will feature live music, pop up vendors, terrific food options, the playground for kids, and more, all in one place! Starts at 3pm.
Sapulpa VFW 4th of July Parking Lot Party – Come on out and join us for some 4th of July fun! We will have Boss N Hogs BBQ truck all day! Get your BBQ Fix with some amazing Q!!! We will have Cornhole, Horseshoes and water fun for the kids. Karaoke will be set up at 8pm! Auxiliary will be set up selling snow cones! The fun starts at 4pm.
4th of July Celebration at New Life Tabernacle in Sand Springs – Will include carnival games, prizes, fair food, a water slide, outdoor inflatables and a concert in addition to fireworks! 4-10pm
Folds of Honor at River West Festival Park – Folds of Honor FreedomFest presented by QuikTrip is back for another evening of patriotic fun! Join us (and an estimated 80,000 spectators) at River West Festival Park and all around Zink Lake and the Arkansas River this 4th of July. 6:30-10:15pm
Sunday, July 6th
$2 Sunday Bowling at Sahoma Lanes – Bring the crew, beat the heat, and let the good times roll without breaking the bank. From 1-2pm only, games are just $2 each!
Blake & Jenna at Canyon Road Baptist – Blake & Jenna have traveled across the country and internationally, performing in churches, festivals, theaters in Branson and Dollywood, and even Europe. Their music has touched countless hearts, and now it’s your turn to experience it live! 6pm.
