We couldn’t be more proud! Plus, PLUS! The band will be performing their NATIONALLY ranked routine at halftime this Friday of the home football game!
Football
Speaking of football, the Chieftains BATTLED the #2 ranked Del City Eagles last Friday. They held this high-scoring offense to one of the lowest-scoring games they’ve had all year. While the outcome wasn’t what we wanted, we couldn’t be more proud of the fight and determination in this team. Glenpool travels to town this Friday. We hope to see you there!
Volleyball
The Lady Chieftain volleyball team yet AGAIN has earned the right to host a regional tournament! Games are tomorrow (Monday 10/9) in the Chieftain Center.
Game 1: Sapulpa vs. El Reno – 4:30pm
Game 2: Lawton Mac vs. Southeast – 6pm
Game 3: Winners of the first two games for the regional championship – 7:30pm
Here’s to looking for a three-peat on being regional champions and another trip to the state tournament!
Cross Country
The men and women of the cross country team had a GREAT day at the Edison Race last Thursday. The ladies placed 2nd while the men brought home 1st place! Check this link to see all of the results. https://edisoncrosscountry.
The Frontier Valley Conference meet is this Tuesday in Muskogee. Good luck to all of our runners, JH – V!
Softball
The Lady Chieftain softball season came to an end last Thursday as they fell to Pryor and Collinsville. This very young team has a very bright future ahead of them!
Also, we’d love to give a shoutout to SHS alum, Kaylee Moss, the current Drum Major for the University of Oklahoma marching band. Check out this article from the Sapulpa Times:
