Vintage car rides at the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum are back for 2025 summer

Reservations are now open for the fourth-annual vintage car rides at the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum in Sapulpa. 

Rides originate at the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum and travel to Pretty Water Lake where riders can opt to get their photo taken before returning to the museum. 

The vintage car rides will take place every Saturday in the summer, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m, except on the first Saturdays of the month. Prices are $25 per person, which includes admission to the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum, showcasing retro and historic cars.

“Over the years, visitors have time and again said they enjoyed the vintage car rides,” said Lina Holmes, executive director of the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum. “There are few opportunities to ride in a 100-year-old car and we are proud to offer this unique experience to guests.” 

People can book rides now by calling the museum at (918) 216-1171. 

The Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum opened in 2016. The museum is known for its photo-friendly 66-foot-tall replica gas pump in front of the building. Visitors from every U.S. state and nearly 100 countries have enjoyed the museum.
