Were you at Sapulpa’s Homecoming Parade last week?
Besides being just a bit on the warm side for a parade, it was like an early Halloween for candy-grabbers everywhere.
Despite the heat, families lined the streets of Dewey to wait and watch the music, floats and participants move down the street. Some of the local stores remained open for business, hoping to take advantage of the additional foot traffic. For those who stuck around, just one block over was Rock The Block, featuring food trucks, live music and classic cars.
