Prescription Drug Take-Back Day from 10 am to 2 pm. The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs. The Creek County Sheriff provides a drop box located at the Creek County Criminal Justice Center (9175 Ridgeview St, Sapulpa, OK 74066). According to the 2018 National Survey on Drug Use and Health, a majority of abused prescription drugs were obtained from family and friends, often from the home medicine cabinet. Too often, unused prescription drugs find their way into the wrong hands. Unused or expired prescription medications are a public safety issue, leading to potential accidental poisoning, misuse, and overdose. Proper disposal of unused drugs saves lives and protects the environment.
