After the series of storms we had yesterday that didn’t actually do much to Sapulpa, we’re all a little more weary about the season we’re in. If you’re a native Oklahoman, you know that we live in tornado alley and the chances of tornadoes are greater here than most everywhere else.
But just how greater are they?
A user on Reddit named CordCutter actually found out by grabbing screenshots of the tornadic activity for every day of the year, based on data collected between 1982-2011 and helped give us a better understanding of what we all pretty much knew: Oklahoma is a black hole of tornadoes.
