The holiday spirit is in full swing with this week’s events

The Christmas season might seem a bit short this year because of the late Thanksgiving, but there’s still plenty to do to get yourself in the Christmas spirit this week! Here’s what we found, starting Wednesday!

Wednesday, December 11th:

  • Sapulpa Times launches its first online “Best Christmas Tree in Sapulpa” contest! We found over a dozen businesses with amazing Christmas Trees! Get online and vote for your favorite! You’ll find the poll at sapulpatimes.com and the contest will run for a whole week!

Thursday, December 12th:

  • The Sapulpa Historical Society will be having their Museum Open House, called “A Gene Autry Christmas,” on Thursday, December 12th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. More details here: https://www.facebook.com/events/2550278385295294/
  • Jingle n’ Mingle on Rt. 66 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Come to downtown Sapulpa for Santa Photos and downtown shopping! Shops will be open late these days!
  • SPECIAL: WIN 2,000 TICKETS BY SHOPPING DOWNTOWN! Sapulpa Times has hidden a big red truck in one of the downtown Sapulpa retailers with 2,000 tickets in it! Find it and get entered into the drawing!

Friday, December 13th:

  • Living Tree Memorial Program at Green Hill Funeral Home. Bring an ornament for each loved one you wish to remember during the service and when their name is called you may place it on the tree. We begin registration at 6 pm (or you may call ahead (918) 224-2312 and register in advance.
  • “The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge,” the 2019 holiday play, will be presented at the Sapulpa Community Theater, 124 S. Water St. Friday’s showtime is 7:30 pm. Prices begin at $12 for adults, $10 for groups of 10 or more, and $5 for school-age students. Call 918-227-2169 or visit sapulpatheatre.org for reservations. This show is a Must-See and may sell out early!

Saturday, December 14th:

  • The Jingle Bell Sweepstakes Drawing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 14th at the Courthouse Plaza. $10,000 Prize will be given to someone with a Jingle Bell ticket and is PRESENT TO WIN! See Page B8 for more information.
