It’s the last day of school for Sapulpa Public Schools, meaning Graduation Night is quickly coming, and is scheduled to happen on Friday, May 16th, at the George F. Collins Stadium starting at 7:30pm.
How to get there
SPS is introducing a shuttle service to make parking easier during construction. The free service will be available between Park and Thomas Streets, and will shuttle passengers to the stadium from 5:30-7:30pm, and for an hour following the ceremony.
Visitors are welcome to take advantage by parking at First Baptist Church (200 S Elm St) or First Christian Church (220 E Lee Ave) and take the shuttle at the corner of Park and Thompson.
The district is also reminding everyone that there will be no SHS campus entry from Dewey on graduation night. A limited number of handicap spots will be available in front of the stadium, however.

What to expect after arriving
The graduation ceremony will be fairly standard and include performances from the Sapulpa High School Band and Sapulpa High School Choir, as well as speeches from High School Principal Seth Shibley, Superintendent Rob Armstrong, and 2025 Valedictorian Tessa Arnold.
After the presentation of the diplomas, the ceremony will conclude with fireworks.
New Work Zone to begin on May 19th
Starting Monday, May 19th, nearly the entire high school campus will become inaccessible, with parking lots at the high school and junior closed.
The Woodlawn Annex parking lot will also be closed as crews prepare for demolition of the former elementary school.
In addition, the parking lots behind Domino’s, and the parking lot near the tennis courts will all close, including the gravel lot. The only entrance and exit to the campus will be on Dewey Avenue, across from Holmes Park Elementary between Adams and Watchorn.
East Dewey will be closed from Mission to Adams, and will remain so for the until 2026. Adams Road on the west side of Holmes Park will become a 2-way street again to accommodate traffic.
