The top story is the recovery story of Sapulpa High Junior Blake Hurt, who took a considerable shock to his spine in the final minutes of the 50-0 shutout game against Glenpool on Friday. After he left the field in an ambulance, many of our readers were wondering about his condition. Thankfully, his mom reached out to us on Saturday to let us know that doctors were saying that Hurt’s spine was bruised, but not broken. By Saturday afternoon, he had been allowed to go home:

Now, how about that football game? After a two-game losing streak, Sapulpa was expected to win against Glenpool in the second of their back-to-back home games, but nobody expected the complete shutout that happened in Collins Stadium. Subscribers can get a full recap of the game below.
