Thursday, October 4, 1906, Sapulpa Democrat: The New Hotel

“Work of excavating for the new hotel has been going on all week and in a short time work can be started on the foundation. This new hotel, which has been a necessity for so long, added to the new Harvey House, will put Sapulpa in a pretty good way, so far as hotel accommodations are concerned. However, the prediction is freely made that an addition will have to be built to the new hotel within a very short time, if needed another hotel will not be a necessity. Sapulpa is a growing town and there are a lot of people who are desirous of coming here and will do so as soon as store rooms and residences can be had.”
