See a Doctor from Home, Drive-thru Swabbing at Axis HealthCare

Axis HealthCare is now offering telemedicine visits for new and established patients.

Patients can see a Provider from the comfort of their home on a smartphone, tablet or computer by simply clicking a link.

This service is great for patients who have a fever, upper respiratory issues or just need medications refilled and don’t want to go into the Doctor’s office.

Once patients see the Provider, they may instruct the patient to drive to the nearest Axis clinic to be tested for flu, strep, or COVID-19. Patients stay in their car and a nurse will meet them outside to get a nose swab.

Dr. David Chorley, Medical Advisor at Axis, stated “We are getting COVID-19 results within 24-48 hours. This gives our Providers much-needed information to care for our patients quickly.”

All a patient needs to do is call Axis and schedule the virtual appointment. The receptionist will walk the patient through the process of checking in and setting up their phone for the visit.

Most insurances cover telemedicine including Medicare and Medicaid. For patients that are not insured, the clinic is only charging $40 for telemedicine visits until April 10th.

“We want to make it easy for patients to be seen from home and still feel like they get personalized care,” said Krista N’Gom, Manager at Axis. “It’s extremely easy for patients to just click a link and be seen,” she added.

Axis HealthCare has a location on Taft street in Sapulpa, as well as locations in Bixby, Bartlesville, Inola, and Pryor.

Patients can call (918) 970-2573 to schedule their telemedicine appointment or they can visit axishealth.net to schedule online.
