Candidates for the Board of Education in Fifteen Creek County school districts
will file their Declarations of Candidacy beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, December 4,
and continuing Tuesday and Wednesday, Creek County Election Board Secretary Joy
Naifeh said today.
Naifeh said the official filing period ends at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6.
All candidate filings will occur at the Creek County Election Board office, 230 E.
Hobson, in Sapulpa, Naifeh said.
The Board of Education positions at stake will be filled at the Annual School
Election scheduled February 13, 2018. If no candidate receives more than 50 percent of
the total votes cast in the election, the two candidates receiving the highest number of
votes will meet in a runoff election on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.
Candidates may file for the following offices:

- Bristow I-2- Office No. 3;
- Depew I-21- Office No. 3;
- Drumright I-39- Office No. 3;
- Gypsy C-12- Office No. 3;
- Kellyville I-31- Office No. 3

- Lone Star C-8- Office No. 3;
- Mannford I-3- Office No.3;
- Mounds I-5- Office No. 3;
- Oilton I-20- Office No. 3;
- Olive I-17- Office No. 3;
- PrettyWater C-34- Office No. 3;
