In a follow-up to a story that first broke on the Sapulpa Times Facebook Page, Creek County Sheriff Deputies made an arrest after serving a search warrant, according to a statement made available to media.
At about 3 p.m. on Monday, February 6, Creek County Sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant at a residence near the corner of Hickory and Fairlane Court in Sapulpa.
Autumn Young, 21, was located in the home, holding a glass pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine. According to the report, Young’s seven-month-old child was in the room with her.
Deputies located a diaper bag, containing more than 20 grams of methamphetamine, along with digital scales, plastic baggies, cash, baby formula, and diapers.
Young admitted that she did hide pills laced with fentanyl in her bra and methamphetamine in the diaper bag. Young had several fentanyl pills stashed in her bra.
The Department of Human Services was called and intervened on the child’s behalf.
Young was booked into the Creek County Justice Center on complaints of Trafficking in Fentanyl, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Controlled Drug in the Presence of a Child Under 12 years of age, Child Endangerment, Use of a Communication Device to Facilitate a Drug Transaction and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Young goes to court on Tuesday, February 21st.
