“You don’t have to get high to get help!” That was John Hefley’s introduction to his new shop at 110 E. Dewey (prior site of Over-Edukated). There were several locals on hand for the ribbon-cutting yesterday.
Hefley explained that he and his wife, Katie, had a conversation after he was diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson’s and left his job as a School Resource Officer in Tulsa. They decided to buy a franchise from American Shaman CBD, since they had enjoyed fewer symptoms after using their hemp-derived products. Katie said that she suffered severe migraines and used a CBD oil on her pulse points and hadn’t had a headache for a year. With personal results like these, they felt they had the basis for a successful business.
They decided to set up their shop in downtown Sapulpa, even though they live in Tulsa, because they are sure the work of the Chamber and Main Street is going to help Sapulpa blossom, like Tulsa’s sweet spots have. The particular building was chosen because of the gorgeous vintage ceiling tiles. Then, they set to work renovating the interior, adding wood slats to the walls, a beautiful wood floor, a large barn-door leading to the back room, and several feather-related decorations. Succulents were everywhere, adding to the ambience.
American Shaman CBD products are 100% organic and natural. They are “batch-tested” with all their results posted online. There is also a 100% money-back-guarantee on all products.
The manager of the shop is Vance Young, a charming, bright-eyed young man, who is their “resident expert” on the varieties and uses of their products. The shop offers skin creams, lotions, Gummies, cookies, flavored oils, and even doggie treats. All customers are encouraged to stop by to sample the products before buying.
Store hours are 10 a.m.- 7 p.m. Monday – Saturday and Noon – 6 p.m. on Sundays.
