Sapulpa Times introduces the Digital Edition: a full-color downloadable version of its print paper

Starting today, Sapulpa Times will begin selling a digital edition of its weekend print newspaper for the same price as the hard copy. Visit sapulpatimes.com/digital to get yours, now.

The Digital Edition starts with the Sunday, April 5th issue, and we’ll continue to add previous issues as we can. (Do you want to see a particular issue soon? Let us know!) The Digital Edition is a full-color downloadable, PDF version of the paper, so you will need a PDF reader to see it.

It’s no secret that most businesses are having a hard time right now. Sapulpa Times is not immune to this—our advertising has stagnated since there are no events for which to advertise, and businesses that are still operating are cutting back on their marketing budget.

What’s worse, Sapulpa Times largely relies on our local retailers to sell our papers for us, and with most of them being closed, our paper sales are dwindling as well—at least for now.

But where others see an obstacle, we see an opportunity.

We’ve continued to cover the coronavirus outbreak here in the state (and in Creek County in particular,) and we know the stories of the last several weeks are worth reading about and remembering. We don’t want you to miss your chance to stay informed because you’re not able to make it into one of our local retailers.

In addition, some of you have expressed your appreciation for our continued coverage, and you might be looking for a way to help make sure that we’re able to do so. This is one way to do that.

To those who read our stories or purchase our paper—whether or print or digital—we thank you for your support of local journalism, and for giving us the ability to continue telling the everyday stories in the town that we love.
