Cross Country Season starts

The cross country season starts this week as Coach Williams and crew travel to Mohawk Park this Friday morning to compete in the Owasso Ram Relays. Also, be sure to mark your calendar for Saturday, September 4 as the Chieftains will be hosting their annual invitational at the Westside Sports Complex. More information to come next week.

Heard and Hall bring home “All Tournament Team” honors

Congrats to Stailee Heard and Mataya Hall as they both brought home “All Tournament Team” honors from the Muskogee tournament this past weekend. The Lady Chieftain volleyball team is back at home this Tuesday with a big match against Muskogee. As always, the games will be live-streamed on Chieftain TV.

Lady Chieftains Softball Monday and Thursday

The Lady Chieftains are back at home this week, playing Pryor tomorrow (Monday) and then a district doubleheader against Edison on Thursday.

Big Blue Band prepping “Candy Land” for home opener

We are just over a week away from the football home opener, which means we will finally get to see the first parts of the Big Blue Band marching show, “Candy Land”! They have been working so hard all summer and we can’t wait for their performance

Chieftain Community Kickoff is Thursday

The Chieftain Community Kickoff is THIS THURSDAY! There will be food trucks, booths, and activities for the whole family. We are also excited to celebrate and recognize all of the Little Chiefs football teams and cheerleaders, as well as all of the JH and HS football teams and cheerleaders, PLUS the Pings, the Big Blue Band. Howdy Week and how to dress up

Howdy Week is here!!  StuCo President, Brooklyn Berry and the rest of the StuCo officers have planned out themes for the week and would like for the entire district to join in! Help show off that Cheiftain School Spirit!

Get your All Sports Pass and never miss a game!

The All Sport Passes are currently only sale in the High School’s Athletic Office, and are a great cost-saving measure for those that attend a lot of events. Adults are $50, students are $25.

Reserved football tickets are waning: Reserved football tickets are still on sale, but there are VERY few left! You can buy them at the main office of the high school from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Pricing is as follows:

Reserved Seating:
$50 – General Public
$35 – Blue Card Holders and Sapulpa Public School employees

Reserved Parking:
$50 – General Public
$35 – Blue Card Holders and Sapulpa Public School employees

Football Season starts Friday!

The season starts this Friday as the Chieftains travel to Sand Springs! Good luck to Coach Holt, staff, and team as they compete against the Sandites! Kickoff is at 7 pm. Also, it will be the “Ford Game of the Week!” and it will be broadcast on YurView which is channel 3 and 93 in both Tulsa and Oklahoma City. Lastly, Cox customers can watch the game for free using the Cox Contour App. The game will also be streaming at watch.yurview.com for a fee.

Also, the 9th-grade team will be hosting the Frontier Valley Conference football preview this Tuesday at Collins Stadium. We will be hosting Sand Springs, Muskogee, Booker T., and Bartlesville. If you’d like to watch the games, times for rotation are here.
