Sapulpa Public Schools (SPS) announced its site Teachers of the Year for the 2024-25 school year at a series of special ceremonies over the last two weeks.
The educators will be honored on Tuesday, February 11, at the Chieftain Center, during Teacher Appreciation Night. The district will recognize each outstanding teacher at the varsity basketball games against Enid.
Sapulpa Public Schools congratulates these innovative, dedicated educators who are chosen by their peers for bringing out the very best in their students.
- Freedom Elementary – Angela Weeks, 2nd Grade
- Holmes Park Elementary – Edelaine Engdahl-Taylor, Music
- Jefferson Heights Elementary – Alex Delozier, 4th Grade
- Liberty Elementary STEM Academy – Barbara Brown, 3rd Grade
- Bartlett Academy – Kari Kearney, Special Education
- Sapulpa Middle School – Dina Verel, Geography, Science & Special Education
- Sapulpa Junior High – Stephanie Greenfeather, Family and Consumer Sciences
- Sapulpa High School – Jo Martin, Art
Support Employee of the Year finalists will also be announced this month. The Sapulpa District Teacher of the Year and Support Employee of the Year will be chosen in the spring and honored at an annual banquet.
