On Tuesday July 25th the Sapulpa Police Department received information regarding the potential sexual abuse of a 4 year old female. The suspects are Kristina Jean Koen, the mother of the victim, and the mother’s boyfriend, Chance Hood. The victim’s grandmother discovered this information while looking through text messages on her daughters cell phone and promptly reported what she found to the Osage County Sheriff’s Office.
The Osage County Sheriff’s Office seized the cell phone containing the text messages and immediately began an investigation.
It was quickly discovered that the mother’s boyfriend/suspect lived in Sapulpa and the potential abuse occurred within the Sapulpa City limits.
The Osage County Sheriff’s Office contacted detectives with the Sapulpa Police Department and transferred the cell phone and the investigation over to them.
On July 25th and July 26th search warrants were executed and both suspects were interviewed by Sapulpa detectives. During those interviews the mother and the boyfriend both admitted their involvement in the sexual abuse of the 4 year old victim.
The suspects are currently in Creek County Jail awaiting bond.
