Sapulpa police arrest Tulsa man who tried to run from them by hiding near the Creek County Courthouse

Sapulpa Police arrested a Tulsa man early Tuesday morning for DUI and possession of a scheduled narcotic.

At approximately 12:52 a.m., thirty-five year old Terry Byrum (defendant), driving a black Chevy Silverado and traveling east near the 100 block on East Dewey Avenue, crossed the centerline while passing Sapulpa Reserve Police Officer Travis Braswell, thereby forcing him to swerve to avoid a collision.
