Sapulpa is making a grand showing at this year’s Oklahoma Main Street Awards as the news arrives that the bustling community has been nominated in six different categories of the prestigious ceremony.
“Just to be listed as a finalist is an honor,” said Sapulpa Main Street Director Cindy Lawrence. “If we have the chance to actually sweep the awards and win in every category? That will be something we’ve never done before.”
Three of Sapulpa’s most successful projects were made finalists in the awards: The Route 66 Christmas Chute, Sapulpa’s “Rumble Fish Alley” development, and the new local business “Gasoline Alley Classics.”
The Oklahoma Main Street Awards winners will be announced in early May. For more information about the banquet or to purchase tickets please visit www.okmsf.org
