Longtime supporter Lon T. Jackson will receive special recognition for almost 70 years as a volunteer for The Salvation Army. Mr. Jackson has been ringing the kettle bells almost every winter for several decades helping to raise unknown amounts. One of his first endeavors was to raise funds for local children who wanted to join the summer program but the families could not afford it. This is an opportunity children have been given each year thanks to donors and supporters like Jackson.

All proceeds from this event directly benefit the Creek County Boys & Girls Club special projects including: summer camp scholarships, membership scholarships, emergency facility needs, community financial utility assistance, emergency financial assistance and the Christmas Toy Program.
