Sam’s Southern Eatery, located in the former Hickory House location on North Mission, has announced a new name to reflect new items on their menu. Now called “Sami’s Southern Kitchen and More,” their menu has expanded to include BBQ, Chicken and Steak Shishkabobs and Tabouleh.

Cacy’s BBQ on South Main has closed permanently as of Thursday. They did not give a reason for the closing.
Wimpy’s Sandwich Shop had its first soft opening on Thursday at the corner of Mission and Hobson. This homegrown sandwich shop gets its name from an old Sapulpa diner, but rather than serve burgers, Wimpy’s serves “everything on a bun and nobody leaves hungry.” Co-owner Mike Hoehner said on Facebook their first official day of business is March 1st.
After a long, wait a soft opening date has been set for Andy’s Bar & Grill, at the corner of Mission and Taft. Their soft opening is March 6th, but it will only be open by reservation. To make a reservation, visit Andy’s Bar & Grill Facebook page.
