Remembering Pearl Harbor: A collection of our most memorable stories about the “Day of Infamy”

On today in 1941, 353 Imperial Japanese aircraft attacked the U.S. Naval base at Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii, just before 8am local time. The surprise attack took the lives of 2,403 Americans were killed and wounded 1,178 others. The event would cause the United States to enter World War II and give way to a generation of Americans known as “The Greatest Generation.” On today, the 82nd anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, we look at some of our most memorable stories regarding the attack and its surprising connections to Sapulpa.
