Drumright, Oklahoma – For the eighth year in a row, Central Tech has been awarded a Top Workplaces honor by Oklahoman Top Workplaces. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

Central Technology Center, part of the Oklahoma CareerTech system, provides technical education leading to individual success and elevates the workforce through economic development collaborations. Central Tech achieved 94% placement for students entering the workforce or continuing their education. Of those in the workforce, 64% of working graduates are employed in jobs related to their career major.
Last year CTC had more than 18,000 enrollments and provided customized business and industry training to 400 companies. Training included a wide array of safety classes with an emphasis on tailoring curriculum to meet the needs of each specific industry.
Since Central Tech works closely with business and industry partners, instruction remains career-focused, teaching today’s career-readiness skills with hands-on relevant learning leading to credentials aligned with business needs. Curriculum incorporates problem solving, critical thinking, and collaboration into the assignments. Students complete their training by earning valuable certifications/licensure driven by the demands of these high-skill industry sectors.
