Oklahoma Highway Patrol shared a video earlier Tuesday morning of a snow plow colliding with a Pepsi truck driver on Turner Turnpike.
“This semi cuts in front of an Oklahoma Turnpike Authority snow plow, scraping the front of their plow,” the post read.
You can see in the video that the semi, for unknown reasons, attempts to enter the left lane where the snow plow is currently operating. It causes content with the snow plow’s blade and damages the semi-trailer.
The post from OHP says the incident was “near Chandler,” but multiple news outlets have reported the incident took place near the Sapulpa exit.
OHP added that they “ended up working a crash a little later involving that same semi when the driver crashed into the center barrier wall. Yet another example of driving too fast for the road conditions.”
Semi rollover on New Sapulpa Road near the Turnpike interchange
News On 6 reported this morning that a Semi truck had a rollover accident on New Sapulpa Road at roughly 7:15 am. No news on injuries in that incident:

OHP asking that Hwy 75 be avoided
In related news, Oklahoma Highway Patrol also asked that drivers avoid Highway 75 between Tulsa and Okmulgee. According to a Facebook post, that stretch of the highway was shut down in both directions due “the amount of stuck vehicles and semis.”
“Our troopers are working to get salt and sand trucks to the area to treat the roads but it is extremely slick in that area. We continue to discourage travel if you don’t have to get out.”
