Zackary Daniel Pickering, 25, of Sapulpa, OK went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at St. John’s Medical Center surrounded by family. Zackary was born June 23, 1994 to Zack Monroe Pickering and Lydia Ann Fox-Pickering. He graduated from Sapulpa High School in 2012 and attended Rogers State University. Zackary worked as a Detail Technician at Fowler Toyota in Tulsa, OK.
Zackary loved life and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a sport enthusiast and a great ball player and teammate. Zackary would spend hours at the softball fields whether he was playing in a league or at a weekend tournament or simply cheering his friends on. He was a wonderful son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend. His appetite for good food and his sense of humor and contagious smile will be fondly missed.
Zackary was preceded in death by his father, Zack Monroe Pickering and Grandparents, James and Edna Pickering, and Herbert Fox and Anna Mae Fox.
He is survived by his mother, Lydia Pickering and sister, Brandy Pickering both of Sapulpa, OK and many Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.
The wake service will be held Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 7:00 PM and the funeral service will be Friday, August 16, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Praise Fellowship Church in Sapulpa, OK. Burial will be at South Heights Cemetery in Sapulpa, OK. Pallbearers will be Josh Littlebear, Kyle Naylor, Bo Burton, Lauren Burns, Chad Hall and Kyle Wallace. Honorary Pallbearers James E. Pickering, Eric Pickering, Rick Pickering, David Foster and Ruben Harjo Sr. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc in Kellyville, OK.
