Wilma Richison

Wilma Sue (Hulsey) Richison 81 of Bristow, Oklahoma passed away March 23,2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Sue was born July 21, 1940, to Robert H. Hulsey and Pearlie M. (Fry) Hulsey. She attended Kinta Public Schools in Kinta, Oklahoma, graduating in the class of 1958. 

Sue and Jimmy Ross Richison Sr. were united in marriage in Lequire, Oklahoma on August 11,1959, they settled down in the Bristow area raising their family and developed a successful cattle ranch and spent countless hours side-by-side through sickness and health for 54 years before his passing on August 25, 2013. To this union were born 5 children, Debbie, Buzz, Bobby, Tim and Gene. 

Sue was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. She loved with all her heart and was the family comedian. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting, teasing, cracking jokes, watching her cattle from her front porch along with bossing her 3 sons around. Sue was a long-time member of Kellyville and Bristow Holiness Church and a faithful Christian setting a Godly example to her children. 

Sue was preceded in death by her loving husband Jim; son Buzz; daughter Debbie; five brothers and one sister. 

Sue was cared for diligently by her 3 loving sons and wives throughout her illness. 

Sue is survived by her sons Bobby and wife Tonda, Tim and wife Cynthia, Gene and wife Angie all of Bristow, Oklahoma; sister Rita Harp of Lequire, Oklahoma; brothers Jerry, Kenneth and Dean all of Oklahoma City, grandchildren Cody and Chelsea Richison (fiancée) Breyden, Kacy Allen (husband) Kurtis, Bubba Richison (fiancée) Sierra, Colton Ross, Jerred Richison, Alisha Williamson (husband) Jordan, brother-in-law Bob Richison and wife Sharon of Kellyville Oklahoma, Kenneth Richison and wife Norma Collinsville, Oklahoma; sister-in-law Marium Reynolds of Muskogee, Oklahoma; brother-in-law Elmer Shepherd of Wagoner, Oklahoma; 11 great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. 

And a special thanks to her boy and girl, Mark and Nanette Damon, for all the love and care they provided. Also, to her caregivers Brenda Bell and Reba Jones.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Friday, March 25, 2022, at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville. Services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, March 26, 2022, also at Traditions Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunrise Cemetery in Kellyville
