Willie Lee Ashley, 85, of Sapulpa, passed from this life Saturday, July 18, 2020. He was born December 5, 1934 in Chickalah, Arkansas to Willie and Macie (Hill) Ashley. He was a machinist by trade, he owned and operated his own business along with multiple rental properties. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Dee Lightfoot on December 15, 1956 and again on August 23, 1978. He enjoyed farming, raising horses and pigs. He had many joys in this life, his love for his wife and family, telling people about the love of Jesus Christ and God’s salvation for us were his favorites. If you knew God and about the plan of salvation, he was happy, if not, he wanted to share the great news with you.
Willie is preceded in death by parents Willie and Macie Ashley; his loving wife Nettie (Dee) Ashley; brother Charles Ray Ashley and his wife Virginia.
He is survived by his daughter Deana and husband Larry Exendine of Tulsa; son Billy Partain of Texas; sister-in-law Dorothy and husband Paul Nichols of Sapulpa; grandchildren Brian Exendine and wife Michelle, Ashley Massaker, Steven Cahill II, Danielle Exendine, Candice Exendine, April Smith, Lacey Partain, Ben and wife Brittney Partain, Emily Green, Tyler and wife Britney Partain and Abi Partain; 24 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
There will be a visitation from 6:00-8:00pm, Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Traditions Funeral Chapel in Kellyville. Services will be 2:00pm, Friday, July 24, 2020 at Westside Freewill Baptist Church, 1403 S. Cheyenne Rd., Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction on Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services.
