Wanda Prestridge

Wanda Leah Prestridge was born to Martin and Alice Nordyke in Turley, OK on July 6, 1933. She graduated from Edison High School in 1951. She worked as a secretary for a business in Sapulpa, OK shortly after graduating. A few years later she met Floyd Leon Prestridge and not to long later, married him. They were married for 62 years. There were a few things that she was very talented in. Sewing was one of them. She sewed cloths for both of her children, as they were growing up. She also loved painting with oil on canvas. She mostly pained landscapes but also painted some portraits. She was a kind and compassionate person and loved giving to here favorite charities. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd on May 24, 2019 and by her granddaughter, Laura “BO” Lynn Tanner on November 26, 2007. Wanda is survived by her two daughters; Faye Hunter and Ruth Robinson; and grandchildren, Andrea Kaylyn Hunter, Scott Garrett Robinson, Hannah Michelle Robinson; great grandchildren Dakota Mathis, Koby Sharp, Paige Sharp, Natalie Robinson, Noah Robinson and Adalyn Reynolds. She was much loved and will be greatly missed. May she rest peacefully in the precious arms of Jesus!
