Vonda Arnell, 53, of Bristow passed from this life September 23rd, 2021 due to covid complications.

Vonda was born June 28th, 1968 to Richard and Belle Smith of Sapulpa. She graduated from Mounds High School in 1986 and earned her Associate’s Degree later in life. She was a dedicated Administrative Assistant for Williams Companies for more than 30 years and was described as an exceptional friend by many coworkers. She also spent many years volunteering her time delivering Meals on Wheels and serving the community through Iron Gate.

Vonda had one daughter, Holly, with her first husband but later married the love of her life, David, and gained a son Russell. Although she loved all her family immensely, being a Nana brought her the greatest joy in life. She affectionately referred to her grandkids as “her babies” and rarely spent time apart from them. When she was not busy watching little league games or ballet recitals, she was making plans for them to camp in her living room. Vonda also liked to crochet and do needle work while watching movies- one of her favorite pass times.
