Stephen James Price, October 26, 1959 – January 13, 2019
Steve Price, of Omaha, NE, was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He passed away peacefully on Jan. 13th with his family present after bravely confronting and fighting cancer. Steve was born on October 26, 1959, in Clinton, Oklahoma, graduated High School from Sapulpa Oklahoma, and obtained his B.S. in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University. He had a love for agriculture and invested most of his career in livestock and food production activities. Steve had a true entrepreneurial spirit seeing improvements and possibilities within organizations he was associated.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert James “R.J.” Price. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Price; children: Cody Price (Tara) and Cooper Price (Alyssa); stepchildren, Allison Brown (Kenny) and Shawn Flynn (Ashley); brothers, Scott Price (Sonya) and Allen Price (Angela); mother, Carolyn Price; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sam and Jenny Pfeifer. He was also blessed with grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins; extended family and dear friends.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: Saturday, Jan. 26th at 11 am at First Central Congregation Church of Christ, 421 S. 36th St., Omaha, NE, followed by lunch and fellowship. Memorials may be directed to the family for charities of their choice.
