SPC Roger Lee Quinn, Jr. was born, September 9, 1989, in Paragould, Arkansas. Quinn was raised in Glenpool, Oklahoma where he attended Glenpool High School. In 2007, he enlisted in the Army National Guard, following graduation from Thunderbird Youth Academy. He served his country honorably throughout his deployment in Afghanistan. SPC Quinn passed away on July 28, 2018, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Quinn is survived by his mother Darlene, her husband Stanley Allensworth, his brothers David, Kevin, Jeremy, and Julius, his sisters Christy, Priscilla, and Summer-Rose. Nieces Natalie and Vanya, Quinn is also survived by his father Roger Quinn Sr. and his wife Darla and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, friends, brother-in arms, and a loving country.
The family asks, if anyone would like to share a memory of their time spent with Roger to please do so, there will be time set aside at the memorial. The family welcomes all Quinn’s military brothers and friends that would like to come and celebrate Roger’s life.
Services are planned for 10:30 am, Thursday, August 2, 2018, Green Hill Funeral Home, 400 East Teel Road, Sapulpa, OK.74066.
