Sammy Ray Childress, 74, of Oilton, passed from this life to his heavenly home on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was born on January 24, 1948, in Sapulpa OK, to Eugene and Anna Childress. He served in the U.S. Army.
Sammy loved the outdoors, going fishing and spending time with his niece, Sherry Lynn.
He is survived by his children, Gordon Childress and wife Lori, Jennifer Wade and husband Bradley; Harley Childress and wife Annette; granddaughter Emily Wade; grandson Connor Childress; brother Bobby Childress and many other close family members that were loved by him.
Sammy was very loved, and he will be missed.
