Russell Philip Seifried was born December 17, 1936 in Tulsa the son of Jerry and Genevieve (Mathis) Seifried. He passed from this life on Thursday, February 28, 2019 in Tulsa at the age of 82 years.
Russell was a retired printer for McDonald Douglas and a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a resident of Sapulpa after moving there from Tulsa (Red Fork area) forty years ago. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Janet Seifried of the Sapulpa home; daughters, Theresa of Sapulpa and Catrina of Skiatook; son, Russell, Jr. “Rusty” of Tulsa; stepdaughter, Gina of Virginia; stepsons, Terry of Sapulpa, Tim of Tulsa and Matt of Oklahoma City; brother, Jim of Michigan; numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and a brother, Jerry Jr.
Private services will be held at a later date.
