On June 5, 1971 a baby boy was born to Roy and Elaine Jackson. They named him Rory Rommel Jackson, affectionately known as lil Roy (Dee). Lil Roy’s love of family, R & B music, and old school cars made him special to all who knew him. He never knew a stranger and he always said ‘I love you” before ending a call or conversation. Upon graduating from Sapulpa High School class of 1990, he entered the workforce as a skilled laborer for many companies before his health declined and he had to retire. He was a loving son, brother, grandfather, and uncle. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Jackson; grandmothers: Mae Hardmond and Dorothy Smith; and grandchildren: Neveah and Alton Zahm Jr. He leaves behind his children: Deidra Jackson, Rommel Jackson, and Tyrese Jones; his father, Roy Jackson; sister, LaTasha Jackson; brothers: Don Jackson, Ryan Jackson, and Melvin Jackson; grandchildren: Abel and Alijah Zahm, Ethan and NeNe Jackson; along with a host of nephews, nieces, family, and friends.
