Richard Eugene Podschun was born July 22, 1950 to Clifford and Iva Podschun in Wichita, Kansas. He departed this life November 21, 2020 at the age of 70 years, 3, months and 30 days.
Rick as known by most was a long time Bristow area resident. He was a hard worker who made his way around the oilfields, occasionally painted, and was an avid recycler of scrap metal. He was a great neighbor always helping when he could; finding a friend with everyone he met. He was very well liked by everyone in town. He was known for his abilities with the electric guitar.
Richard is survived by two daughters, Gina and Tawnya; one sister, Violet Stoddard and Husband Clint along with a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, spouse LaDonna, one son, Chris Podschun; an infant daughter, Melody and two brothers, Albert and David Podschun.
