Pauline Hill Clowers was born April 29, 1923 to Charlie and Gratis Hill in Bristow, Oklahoma. She departed this life January 13, 2020 at the age of 96.
She attended Bristow Public Schools, graduating in 1941. She married Melvin Clowers October 9, 1966. She worked at the garment factory for seven years and twenty-five years for Safeway.
Pauline enjoyed doing word puzzle books and reading the Tulsa World (every page), as well as watching television. She loved her grand and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Tommy Thompson and wife, Connie of Tulsa; one brother, Dale Hill of Oklahoma City; two granddaughters, Heather Charles and husband Jason of Sand Springs and Hayley Woodson and husband Garrett of Tuttle; three great grandchildren, Emily Charles, Meghan Charles and Tyler Woodson as well as numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Getrude Hanks, Evelyn Odum, Aline Wyatt; one brother Freeman Hill; husbands Ray J. Thompson and Melvin Clowers.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00PM, Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Bristow City Cemetery.
