Osvaldo “Ozzie” Leoncio Oliveros, 75, joined our Heavenly Father on Friday, July 12th, 2019.
He leaves his wife of 45 years, Deb (Marks) Oliveros; his daughter, Amanda Walker and her husband Brian Walker; four grandchildren: Keith, Nichole, Amiah, and John Henry; brother-in-law Gary Marks and wife Debbie Marks; brother-in-law Jackie Myers; multiple nieces and nephews; special friends Doug and Debbie Jones, Bruce and Debbie Gordon, Judy Freeman; and many other close friends.
Born in Camaguey, Cuba, the son of Osvaldo F. and Aldofina Oliveros, he was a long-time resident of the Sapulpa, OK. The family came to the United States in 1961 and joined the Sapulpa community shortly after with the help of the Bartlett family, the Allen family, the Barry family, and countless others. He loved being a member of the Sapulpa community and being a U.S. citizen. He served his community as a city councilman and his country as a member of the National Guard.
His care has been entrusted to Greenhill Funeral Home in Sapulpa, OK.
Visitation – Monday July 15, 2019 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel Sapulpa.
Funeral Service – 10:00am Tuesday July 16, 2019 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel Sapulpa.
Final Resting Place – Green Hill Memorial Gardens Sapulpa.
