Norma Peyton, 84, of Sapulpa, passed from this life on December 28, 2018. She was born on May 8, 1934 to Ray and Marcella Hudgins in Sapulpa, Oklahoma where she started her schooling at Pretty Water Grade School and went on to graduate from Sapulpa High School.
She is survived by her husband, Raleigh Peyton; her sons, David Boyd of Sapulpa, Larry Boyd of Sapulpa and her daughters, Carol (Paul) Boyd Collins of Hartsburg, Missouri, Donna (Larry) Steel of Fort Worth, Texas, Leann (Randy) Wallace of Burleson, Texas; two brothers, Wes (Barbara) Hudgins of Bristow, Tom (Judy) Hudgins of Sapulpa; four granddaughters, Lisa, Chelsea, Caitlin and Jordan; two grandsons, Tyler and Justin.
Throughout her life, Norma was driven by a commitment to leave her community better than she found it, and that’s exactly what she did. She cherished her family and loved her community. She was a realtor for many years, starting her career at Peyton Realtors and finishing at Terry Gartside Realtors.
She will be remembered for many things, among them her love of gardening, love of singing and love of life. We will miss her deeply and be forever grateful for the example she set.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 with Funeral services following at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 3, 2019.both being held at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sapulpa. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK
