Nola Lavelle (Garrett) Buller went to be with Jesus Christ on September 16, 2021. She was born on April 19, 1937 to Alton and Bertha Strickland in Bristow, Oklahoma. Nola is survived by her loving husband, Jerry; daughter, Melinda Tucker; brother, Dale Strickland; grandchildren Bradley Tucker (and wife Tiffany), Brianne Wade (and husband John), and Tyler Tucker (and wife Stacey); great grandchildren: Jackson Tucker; Waylon, Tucker, Savannah, Mason, Eli, and Lily Lu Wade; and Wyatt Tucker; bonus children Pam Tartsah, Peggy Buller, and John Buller; bonus grandchildren Alanna and Ethan Tartsah. Nola was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Ray Garrett; her son, Timmy; son in law, Steve Tucker; and her two sisters, Wanda Lynn Thompson and Claudia Henderson. Nola was raised in Bristow, Oklahoma and graduated from Bristow High School in 1955. She married her high school sweetheart, Ray Bill Garrett, on June 5, 1955. They had two children, Melinda and Timothy. In 1960 the Garrett family moved to Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Nola was a stay at home mom and then later a receptionist for Dr. Patterson and for Terry Gartside Realtors. After Ray passed in 2004, Nola was blessed to meet and marry Jerry Buller in 2006. Nola became a bonus mom and grandma to Jerry’s children and grandchildren and loved them like her own. They were married for 15 years and enjoyed traveling, shopping, and going to church together. Nola was a friend to all and never met a stranger in her life. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones. We are comforted knowing we will see her again in heaven. The family would like to thank Seasons Hospice and Clarehouse for the wonderful, loving care in the last moments of her life.
