Nell Margaret Crenshaw was born to Ida Mae Lunsford and Willie Brown in Beggs, Oklahoma on April 10, 1927. She departed this life on September 12, 2022, at Glenwood Nursing Facility due to a lengthy illness. She took Debbie Crenshaw as her husband in 1943 and they moved to Brawley, California in 1949.
She worked in the food service industry as a food service manager and returned to Sapulpa, Oklahoma, where she established her own business and was very successful.
Nell is preceded in death by her husband Debbie Crenshaw, daughter Eloise Crenshaw and sons, Kirk “Yogi” Crenshaw and William “Butch” Crenshaw.
She is survived by Debbie “Bo” Crenshaw Jr. of California, Elaine Snowdon of Arizona, Rosetta Thomas, Priscilla Williams, Keith Crenshaw, Michel Crenshaw, Kent Crenshaw and Kenneth Crenshaw of Oklahoma, Cortelia Crenshaw of Maryland and Youlounda Crenshaw of Louisiana.
She is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, 2 cousins, Tomeissa Adams and Edward James of Los Angeles, California and a host of friends to mourn her.
