Michael Ray Shockley was born July 7, 1963 to Billie Ray and Carolyn Jane Shockley in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He departed this life March 7, 2020 at the age of 56.
He graduated from OSU I.T. with his Associates Degree in gas compression and diesel mechanics. He had worked as a pipeline inspector for several years until recently retiring. He enjoyed working on motorcycles, fishing and going to the races. He loved his family dearly and was known as the family protector.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Janie & Terry Duren of Bristow; one brother, Larry Shockley of Oklahoma City; one sister, Diana Jackson and husband Randy of Bristow; one niece, Kaylee and Reilly; two great nephews, Kadyn and Sutton. He was preceded in death by his father, Billie Shockley; nephew, Brent Jackson; grandparents, Loyd and Velda Tull and Joy and Bessie Shockley.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00PM, Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Home with interment to follow at the Bristow City Cemetery.
