A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Margie Dawn Denny-Wallin will be 1:00PM Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Schaudt’s Glenpool Funeral Service. A Native American wake service will be held 7:00PM Monday, April 22, 2019 at Schaudt’s. A lifelong resident of Glenpool, Margie Dawn Denny-Wallin passed on April 19, 2019 in Tulsa at St. John Medical Center, she was 45.

Born Jan. 23, 1974, at Claremore Indian Hospital, she was lovingly called “Shí Yazhí,” Navajo for “Daddy’s girl,” by her family.

Margie Dawn was a medical assistant for many years to Dr. Kyra Vineyard. Along with a soft spot for Motley Crue and Tim McGraw, she enjoyed watching games involving the Tulsa Drillers, the Oklahoma City Thunder, Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and her granddaughters.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Wallin of the home; her daughters Brittany Denny, Charlie Harjo and Lyric Wallin, all of Glenpool; her parents, Milton Sr., and Loretta Denny of Glenpool; siblings Brian Kanuho, Matthew Denny, Christine Denny and Milton Jr., and Rachel Denny; granddaughters Lily Farve and Kiara Harjo; and a host of nieces and nephews, including Morgan Pascale, Daelyn Denny and Teigan Denny.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Morgan Denny, and granddaughter Maliyah Kay.
