Manuel Noriega

Manuel Noriega entered into rest on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the age of 61 in Glenpool, OK with his loving family by his side.

Manuel was born on November 21, 1956 in Oklahoma City, OK to Bessie (Proctor) Noriega and Carlos Noriega. He attended school in Hartschorne, OK, where he graduated from in 1975. Manuel excelled in sports and played on the football, basketball teams during his high school years. He also enjoyed playing fast pitch softball in his later years. Upon graduation, he received his certificate in welding. Manuel held many jobs in OKC, before moving his whole family to Tulsa, to pursue a better life and career for his family.

Family was a large part of Manuel’s life. He had five children and fifteen grandchildren, which he loved to spoil. On Saturday’s you could find them all cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners together and any chance he got he would be there at the stadium attending the game. He loved to fish and was known to tell a few stories about the big ones that got away. Manuel also enjoyed shooting pool almost as much as he enjoyed winning.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Bessie and Carlos Noriega, and sister; Carolyn Noriega.

Manuel is survived by his children; Carlos Noriega and his wife Trina of Glenpool, OK, Carmelita Natseway and husband Chris of Albuquerque, NM, Manuel Noriega of Glenpool, OK, Belcher Noriega and wife Tara of Seminole, OK, and Derrick Noriega of Glenpool, OK; the mother of his children:Ramona Noriega; siblings; Steve Noriega of OKC, OK, Raymond Noriega of OKC, OK, Jansen Butler of Tulsa, OK, Marques Noriega and wife Raven of Tulsa,OK, Althea Holuby of Dustin, OK, Ladonna Howard of Sapulpa, OK, seventeen grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Schaudt’s Glenpool Funeral Chapel, 719 E. 141st Street, Glenpool, OK 74033.

Wake service will be held 7:00 PM Sunday, May 6, 2018 in the Schaudt’s Glenpool Funeral Chapel following the viewing.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, May 7, 2018 in the Schaudt’s Glenpool Funeral Chapel. Ministers speaking; Charles Mitchell, Martin Fleming, and Paul Tecumseh.
