Loretta McWhirt

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Loretta May (Murphy) McWhirt. She died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Kellyville Oklahoma on January 14^th, 2022, succumbing to a prolonged illness. Born in Marysville California on March 10, 1947, to Gussey and Roy Murphy, Loretta grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. She married the love of her life, William T. McWhirt (Ted) at the age of 18. As the wife of a Navy Sailor, she traveled the United States extensively and had her hands full raising two sons and two daughters. As a mother and grandmother, she was generous, loving and kind. She is survived by her husband Ted, sons William and Michael, her daughter Tracy, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members. The family and extended family will attend a private celebration of life ceremony, no public service is planned at this time.
