Linda Marie Turner, 71, of Sapulpa was surrounded by love as she passed from this life into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father at the Clarehouse in Tulsa.
Linda was born February 8, 1948 in Sapulpa to Lewis and Alice Jones. She graduated from Sapulpa High School and went on to become a nurse aide. After leaving nursing she became a waitress. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sapulpa.
Linda was married to Robert “Bud” Turner, who preceded her in death. They made Sapulpa their home.
She was also preceded in death by parents; Lewis and Alice Jones, grandson; Aaron Galloway, and nephew; Dale Sellers.
She leaves behind her daughter; Sarah Turner and Ismael Perez, great grandson; Isaiah Perez of Orlando, Florida, son; Jimmie Maroutsos III and Donna of Tulsa and grandson, Forrest, daughters: Angela Moore, and Dave, Stephanie Taylor Edmonds, sisters; Patricia Sellers of Tulsa, niece Tammy Ridenor and family of Bixby, Kay Norman of St. Louis and son Andy, Debby Galloway and husband Doug, and sons, Wesley Galloway and family, Connor Galloway and Moni all of Sapulpa, special best friend; Judy Hudgins of Sapulpa and many other family and friends, She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank Ranch Terrace, Clarehouse and St. John’s Hospice and their staff for the loving care given to Linda.
Funeral Services will be 10:00am Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel 1208 South Main in Sapulpa and family will dismiss from the Chapel. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
