Lillian Miller, age 84, passed away peacefully on October 13th, 2019. Lillian was born on July 25th, 1935 in Bristow, Oklahoma to Eddie and Sallie Harry, along with her older sister Louella. Lillian attended Eufaula Boarding School and graduated from Bristow High School. Lillian married Wayne Miller at Linwood Methodist Church in Oklahoma City on March 29th, 1958.
Lillian and Wayne raised their family in Minnesota. After Minnesota, they continued their adventures in Texas and eventually California. Lillian’s husband Wayne preceded her in death on July 18th, 1996 in Mission Viejo, California and Lillian moved back to her roots in Oklahoma.
Lillian is survived by her three sons Ronnie, Perry (Maggie), and Danny, her four grandchildren Joseph (Lindley), Elizabeth (Erik), Jenny (Daniel), and Alicia, and her great-granchild Lincoln Perry. Lillian is also survived by her loving partner Jerry. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Louella McKay.
Lillian was a devout member of Concharty United Methodist Church, as well as a proud member of Muscogee Creek Nation. Lillian will be remembered by her strong faith, giving nature, remarkable laugh, sense of humor, and endless love and support for her family.
A wake service will be held Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00PM, Monday, October 21, 2019 at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Chapel with interment to follow at the Harry family cemetery.
