Lendle “Lynn” Brown, 83, Mounds, Ok., died Saturday, February 13, 2021, in Hillcrest Hospital South, Tulsa, OK. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sapulpa, OK.
Born in Tiger, OK., he moved with his family to California and worked as a logger. Lynn later returned to Oklahoma where he met his wife, Claudine (Justice) Brown and where they began their life journey together, married more than 53 years. Their adventures took them around the country making memories with friends and family. Lynn provided for his family by working at Purina, later DuPont, for more than 25 years before retiring in 2002. They resided in Chouteau and Locust Grove, OK., before retiring in Mounds. Lynn loved fishing, camping, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Lendle is survived by his wife, Claudine, Mounds, OK.; one brother, Charles Brown, Okmulgee, OK.; one daughter, Janine Johnson, Coarsegold, CA.; six grandchildren, Russell, Brittney and Kenneth Buecklin, Calvin and Jacob McClellen and Kristi Waite; six great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Lendle is preceded in death by his Parents: Lynn Levi Brown, Ora Mae (Jones) Brown and Brothers: James Lynn, Orville and Doyle Eugene (Jean) Brown, and one daughter, Kristi Brown Buecklin.
Final resting place for Lendle Brown will be Chouteau West Cemetery, Chouteau, OK.
