Layson Thomas Davis, age 17, of Sapulpa, OK, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 2, 2025 in St. Cloud MN. He was born January 18th, 2008 in Tulsa, OK to Randy and Melissa Davis.
Layson’s charismatic, and independent nature shines through his music. His work can be found by searching AngloSaxson on all platforms.
He was a natural leader that frequently had a group of loyal friends around. This ‘fan club’ was attracted by his strength of character. While working, going to school, and building his music career he still made room for his family.
Two nieces, and one nephew will remember him well. He shared his joy with them openly, and without reservation. Randy, and Melissa held a bond with Layson that is rarely seen between parent and son. They bantered, spoke candidly about deep subjects, and truly loved one another. He had his father’s decisiveness, and his mother’s kindness.
Layson aided in the development of his three siblings, Kevin, Kristin, Chance and Gloria Ann. The companionship, advice, and inspiration he gave will remain with them forever. Layson respected, and honored his grandmother Janet. From early childhood he was close with his Aunt Amanda. He will also be missed by his grandmother, Beth Summerhill, of Cold Springs, MN.
An unshakable faith in God served Layson throughout his life. He worked to comprehend the bible by reading and researching it passage by passage. God has received a faithful servant of Christ into his kingdom.
