Kenneth Gene Robertson, 79, of Sapulpa, OK, passed away at home on Saturday, February 8, 2020.

Ken was born on January 26, 1941 to parents Ralph B and Blanche M. (McVey) Robertson at Pratt, Kansas.

He grew up on a family farm, Meade County, KS, where at the age of eleven, he drove a tractor and helped milk cows. Ken graduated from Plains High School, Plains, Kansas. He received a Masters Degree in Business Education from Bethany Nazarene College. Ken married in 1962 at Bethany, Ok. The family attended Sapulpa Church of the Nazarene. He taught six years in Sapulpa, sold insurance for two years, and taught for seventeen years at Longview High School, Longview, TX. Ken then spent 10 years building houses with the Habitat for Humanity. He retired in Sapulpa.

Ken is survived by his son: Scott Robertson, his sister: Helen (Harold) Shore; two sisters-in-law, Vera Robertson and Ellen Robertson; four nephews, four nieces, and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother, Keith, and brother, Ramon Robertson.

Funeral services will be held at Meade Church of the Nazarene on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 2 pm, with interment to follow in the Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association or organization of donor’s choice.
